Shree Koragajja Kshetra, Urwa Boloor is one among the numerous deities settled and known for their blissful presence on the life and routine of Tulunadu in protecting the aggrieved devotees and punishing the one who slips from his Dharma. From the folklore of Pardana and the divine wordings of the Spirit, one can understand the blissful presence of prime deity of the Kshetra, Koraga Taniya.

With the grace and power of Lord Shiva, he was born to Oravana Odi and Korapolu Maire who lived at Panambur Patta Sale. He lost both his parents in his infancy itself and though he lost the legacy of whole Koraga cult of Seven Koppas and was deeply moved by the grief of orphan hood, he was found by Mairakke Baidedi who was a resident of Insura Barke, an area different from his Koppa. She took care of him and looked after as her own son as one among her children.
